October 29, 2026
"Closing out the series with an energetic duo set." That's how the Wild Thyme Café events page described the Erika Najibo Duo, who were booked for the last Friday slot of the fall on October 30. The page lists no date for the music to come back.
That leaves a quieter stretch at Angeline. After that last set, only two dated community events are posted before the holidays, and they fall six weeks apart. The second one, a holiday market on December 18, is also the sixth stop on a regional circuit that starts at The Shops at Wiregrass a month earlier. If you want a sense of the December market before it arrives, the earlier stops will show you.
The first one is Sunday, November 8. The Step Right Up: Fall Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with carnival games, inflatables, a petting zoo, pony rides, food trucks, a DJ, a balloon twister, face painting, a juggler and a lemonade stand. It is open to Angeline residents only. The listing says to log into your Vantaca portal and open the event email for details and to RSVP. If that email got buried during a busy October, now is the time to find it.
The second is Discovery Days at Angeline: 2026 Holiday Edition, on Friday, December 18, from 5 to 9 p.m. Tampa Bay Markets is hosting it in partnership with Metro Development Group. The event listing on MarketSpread promises local makers, handcrafted gifts, gourmet treats, free gift wrapping, a visit with Santa and holiday music. The listing describes it as a market for "neighbors, families, and visitors." That means the December evening is the one where you can bring friends or family from outside the community.
Nothing else is scheduled on site between those two dates. The regular Discovery Days market has no November or early December date posted, and neither Tampa Bay Markets nor MarketSpread shows one. So the time between the festival and the market comes down to the café and the region around it.
The Angeline market is part of the Tampa Bay Markets 2026 Holiday Event Series. The organizer describes the series as bringing "local artisans, makers and small businesses" to Tampa, Dunedin, New Port Richey, Trinity, Land O' Lakes and Wesley Chapel from November through December. It also includes a local vendor area during Busch Gardens Christmas Town. Its posted schedule runs in this order:
One organizer runs the whole lineup, and vendors need an approved Tampa Bay Markets annual application to register for any of the group's markets. The Angeline vendor list was still marked tentative when this was written, and the map stays hidden until vendors are confirmed.
The schedule gives you options. Trinity on the 12th and Midtown on the 19th fall on either side of December 18, which helps if the Angeline date doesn't work for you. A stop at Wiregrass in November also shows you what this organizer's holiday markets look like before you plan to finish your shopping close to home.
The Shops at Wiregrass calls its Symphony in Lights kickoff, presented by AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, an annual tradition. It includes Santa's arrival, a drone show and a holiday market. The center's event page still says "more information coming soon." The Tampa Bay Markets graphic for the evening lists 5 to 9:30 p.m.
That makes it the closest match to the Angeline market. It has the same organizer for the market portion, a weekend evening time slot and a Santa appearance. The difference is scale, since a shopping center with a drone show draws a much bigger crowd than a community Welcome Center.
If you go, Wiregrass has a new store worth a look. MINISO, which sells toys, collectibles, beauty products and home goods, announced a soft opening for October 30 in a space next to Nikki's Boutique on Paseo Drive. The center has since posted a banner saying MINISO "has officially opened." For a family with gift lists, that store and the holiday market are on the same street.
Without the music series, Wild Thyme Café is still the easiest Friday evening plan inside Angeline. The music has stopped for now, but the café's posted hours still run late at the end of the week.
| Day | Posted hours |
|---|---|
| Monday to Wednesday | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
| Thursday | 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. |
| Friday and Saturday | 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. |
| Sunday | 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
On Friday and Saturday the café stays open three hours later than it does Monday through Wednesday. The old 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. music slot fits inside those hours with time to spare. The posted menu features Basil Lemonade and Farm Fresh Pizza as specials, plus avocado toast, a Caprese panini and a goat cheese and honey pizza, along with hoagies, shareables, salads and wine. The café's About page also mentions on-site produce and farm-raised eggs.
The café's events page also carries community updates. Both the festival notice and the music series are posted there, so check it in December to see whether the Friday sets come back.
For a dessert stop on the way home from Wiregrass or Trinity, Cotee River Creamery & Desserts has opened a second storefront at 6745 Land O' Lakes Blvd., selling house-made ice cream, coffee and lattes, as Best of Pasco reported in July.
The market circuit is busiest in December. For the last week of November, the nearest regular evening plan is Celebration of Lights at The Concourse, 11919 Alric Pottberg Road in Shady Hills. It runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Its event listing on Florida's Sports Coast gives this schedule:
The same page also gives a shorter summary range of November 28 to December 27. If you're planning around the Friday after Thanksgiving, check the listing before you leave.
Two weekends on that schedule overlap with the market circuit. Light Up the Night in New Port Richey is on December 4, the first night of the December 4 to 6 run. The Angeline market on December 18 falls on the first night of the December 18 to 20 run. The Angeline market closes at 9 p.m. and Celebration of Lights runs until 10, so the posted hours leave room for both on the same night.
One detail on the market listing could matter if you have guests coming from outside the community. The event description gives the location as the Angeline Welcome Center, 11725 Angeline Blvd, Land O' Lakes, FL 34638. The venue field on the same MarketSpread page shows 17398 Pleasantview Blvd. When you send directions, use the Welcome Center by name, and check the listing again closer to the date in case the organizer updates it.
Here is the calendar in order:
If you know someone who has been waiting for a good time to see Angeline, the December 18 market is the one 2026 event on the calendar that's open to guests. If that person turns out to be thinking about a move, the team at Platinum Property Collective knows how Angeline's calendar runs through the year and would be glad to help.
